The F-Box series surface mount speakers developed by TOA Corporation (Headquarters: Kobe, Japan, President, CEO: TANIGUCHI Masahiro) have been awarded the Good Design Award 2024 (hosted by the Japan Institute of Design Promotion). The award-winning products will be on display at the Good Design Exhibition 2024 held November 1 through 5, 2024 in Tokyo Midtown.
F-Box series surface mount speakers are available in a variety of models to suit different types of installation environments and system configuration requirements. Their simple design encompasses everything down to the installation fixtures, with flat surfaces and cylinders that blend into building interiors to harmonize well anywhere. In addition to the lightweight construction, using the included fixtures for temporary fixing frees up both hands for wiring and fastening screws, making them easy to work with.
Their simple exterior form means that these speakers will never look out of place in any facility. One distinctive element is the fixtures designed for safety and ease of installation in elevated locations. The design shines a spotlight on the oft-neglected installation fixtures and attempts to resolve issues facing the construction industry, including an aging workforce, labor shortages, and work style reforms. These efforts were highly rated by the panel.
