Announcement of Reorganization and Personnel Changes

Tokyo, January 15, 2018 - TOA Corporation (Headquarters: Kobe, Japan, President, CEO: Kazuhiro Takeuchi) to be implement the following reorganization and personnel change, effective as of April 1, 2018.

Research and Development Division will be reorganized, and a new department called Global Research and Development Division will be established to the purpose of promoting the products development for the global market.

Under Global Research and Development Division, Core product Research and Development Department and Solution Research and Development Department will be established. Core product Research and Development Department will be in charge of core, strategic and renewal products, while Solution Research and Development Department will be in charge of service business and solution products.

In order for the whole company to deal with intellectual property business, Intellectual Property Department, which is currently under Research and Development Division, will be placed directly under the President, CEO.

Domestic Sales Division and Solution Sales Division, which are currently under Domestic Marketing Division, and Domestic Marketing Division itself will be reorganized and integrated into Solution Sales Division for the purpose of promoting solution sales.

Under Solution Sales Division, Sales Strategy Department, which will be in charge of strategic sales, marketing and after services, etc. will be established.

Under Solution Sales Division, Infrastructure Sales Department and Security Market Design Sales Department will be established.Infrastructure Sales Division will be solely in charge of social infrastructures such as trains and airports, while Security Market Design Sales Division will be solely in charge of security market and new client search business.

Quality Assurance Department and Reliability & Inspection Department will be integrated into Quality Assurance Department for the purpose of unifying information and intelligence about the product quality and to increase a responding speed.
