The TOA Group AI Basic Ethics Policy (hereinafter referred to as the "Policy") has been formulated as an action guideline which sets rules to be observed in the development, provision, and use of AI. This Policy is based on TOA Group Code of Corporate Ethics and stipulates the fundamental way of thinking and acting toward AI ethics.
TOA Group applies this Policy when developing, providing, and using AI to all directors and employees and reflects it in its business activities.

In developing, providing, and using AI, TOA Group pre-considers the impact on people, society, and the environment, and endeavors to ensure safety so as not to cause harm. At the same time, TOA Group recognizes the security risks that arise from the development, provision, and use of AI and endeavors to implement appropriate security measures and reinforcement.
In developing, providing, and using AI, TOA Group endeavors to ensure transparency of the AI and communicates in a sincere and appropriate manner so that it can fulfill its necessary accountability to a reasonable extent.
TOA Group contributes to the development of AI to realize a better society, endeavors to ensure that this Policy is properly understood in all its business activities, and endeavors to develop human resources with the knowledge and ethics to understand AI correctly and to use it in a socially proper manner.
In accordance with this Policy, TOA Group companies and divisions will work together to develop, provide, and use AI in its business activities. In addition, we continue to pay close attention to domestic and international trends related to AI and social demands, and review this Policy as needed to contribute to the realization of a human-centric AI society.
